After college, I immediately began working as a design assistant in New York City for a few very successful high end designers. It truly is an experience every young designer, including yours truly, dreams of. While I learned so much and am eternally grateful for the opportunity, trying to constantly achieve someone else's vision isn't as fulfilling as you might think. Can you believe? I quickly came to realize while I was creating beautiful pieces of clothing that would one day be loved by many, I was also adding more to a world that is already so full.
